There are several types of sambal, depending on the ingredients mixed with peppers: Sambal terraces (with shrimp paste and lime juice), Sambal asam (with tamarind) or Sambal kacang (with garlic, shallots and roasted hazelnuts), to list only a few of the existing varieties. I found in the store a simple version of Sambal oelek (ulek), meaning hot peppers ground with a little salt, which I used in combination with Worcestershire sauce to give a & # 8220impul & # 8221 to the turkey breast, before to wrap it in a layer of bacon.
