My favorite eggplant salad recipe
I was looking for a way to get a whiter salad that isn't spicy. For this, I mixed the baked eggplant with bread crumbs soaked in milk.

Bake two larger eggplants on the flame from the stove or in the oven, as each prefers. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. After about 30 minutes we take them out, clean them of burn marks and seeds, then put them in a bowl and let them sit in the milk. Separately, we also put half a white bagel in the milk.

Strain the eggplants, chop them, mix them with well-squeezed bread crumbs. Homogenize, add salt and a raw yolk and pour oil, about 200 ml, a little, like mayonnaise. & # 160

Before serving, put the finely chopped onion in the salad and keep it a little in the water, so that the juice comes out quickly. We decorate as we like. I used olives, donuts, cherry tomatoes.

This is why I did not post recipes with seafood.

Chocolate salad with strawberries and pomegranate - Recipes

Because there was a release at the fish today, we made caviar. This time in another version, with semolina.

In my opinion, after tasting, they come out better with semolina than with bread. Those with bread remained quite salty and had a different consistency, those with semolina do not remain salty and become fluffy. Now it probably also depends on the mixer, I have a slightly different mixer, with high power, which helped me make them fluffier :)

In any case, homemade caviar is very good, it is quite easy and goes great on fasting days when we have fish release.

  • 100 grams of herring, 3-4 tablespoons of semolina (prepared from water and semolina, just like semolina with milk, with a very solid consistency - cooled before use), 1 lemon, 200-300 ml oil, 1 onion .

I put the eggs in the mixer bowl. Because they already had a little oil in them, I first beat them so simple for 4-5 minutes. Then I gradually added a little semolina. In fact, I alternated semolina with lemon oil and juice.

The mixer does the job on its own, so we just have to be patient and put all the ingredients in the bowl gradually, until the eggs are ready.

I finely chopped an onion and added it over the caviar, I homogenized and I served.

I played a little with my shapes, the goldfish was very helpful :) I go served and simple from the bowl, but I like to see the plate happier :)

Perishable snacks in a package

1. Snacks with seaweed by Annie Chun

Eat even superfood: it is full of antioxidants, calcium and tons of vitamins and minerals. But while the health benefits are many, its poor texture does not appeal to everyone.

Annie Chun's seaweed snacks are crispy and come in several flavors (brown sugar, anyone?), So the snack tastes less like seaweed and more like a small slice of heaven.

2. Mix of routes

We like the mix of trails, with its tasty mix of nuts, fruits and other goodies - but large amounts of sugar and saturated fat means that this snack can be dangerous (not to mention easy to overeat).

Fortunately, there are several tricks to keeping it healthy, such as buying pre-portioned bags, storing them in single-serving bags, or whipping one of these21 healthier home mix recipes.

3. Green pea chips

Baking vegetable chips can be fun, but there are times when buying them is simply easier.

Our favorite store bought? Trader Joe is contemplating the inner pea. (We also dig the name Zen). Filling with greens has never tasted so good. Just make sure you eat the whole bag in one sitting.

4. Pretzels and cheese

It's true: cheese needs refrigeration. But if you plan to have snacks for lunch, the string cheese will hold up very well. We recommend pairing a stick with a small bag of whole pretzels.

5. Mary’s Gone Crackers

Thanks to the growing popularity of gluten-free diets, finding wheat-free products is no longer so difficult for those who need them. What theIt isit is difficult to find the healthy and tasty ones. However, Mary's Gone Crackers are both.

Made with brown rice, flax and other gluten-free cereals, the biscuits are both tasty and robust - perfect for a topping like Justin's Nut Butter Squeezing Packs.

6. Dried cereals

Cereals are a popular breakfast food for a reason. It is very convenient and can provide healthy carbohydrates, fiber and protein. It is also easy to throw in a container, throw in your bag and eat on the go.

Just be careful when it comes to serving sizes and make sure you read the labels, as the morning meal may be high in calories and sugar. Here are some of our healthy favorites.

7. Suzie's thin fluffy rice cakes

Looking for a lighter and more compact version of rice cakes? Try Suzie's Fluffy Rice Cakes. They may be thin, but they are strong enough to cope with the avocado, a great improved topper and better with a line of Sriracha.

8. Dark chocolate

It's true: chocolate canbe a healthy snack. The key is to stick to the dark varieties, which contain antioxidants and have even been linked to better mental health. Jackson S et al. (2019). Is there a relationship between chocolate consumption and symptoms of depression? A cross-sectional survey of 13,626 adults in the United States. DOI: 10.1002 / da.22950

Associate dark chocolate with a healthy colleague, such as clementine or pomegranate seeds. Just try not to eat the whole bar. After all, it's about moderation.

9. Turbana plantain chips

Chips made from plantain may not be as familiar as the fried potato variety, but they are a much healthier option - and still quite good!

The turban keeps it simple, using natural ingredients in its seven varieties. We like to pair the chili and hummus flavored version.

10. Buddy Fruits pure mixed fruits

Squeezed fruit in a bag may seem like something to give your child (and good for you, if you do!), But these useful snacks can help adults get their daily dose of fruit.

Buddy Fruits prepackaged fruit blends come in several flavors, from plain apple to banana-mango, all made with 100% real fruit.

11. Oatmeal bar with cinnamon

KIND is consistently ranked as one of the healthiest brands of granola with the lowest sugar level on the market. Check out the 140-calorie oatmeal granola bar, which has only 5 grams of added sugar. But be careful: these bars tend to break, so bring a napkin.

12. CHOMPS grass-fed beef

Protein-rich, grass-fed beef easily fits into your diet (and back pocket) with these tasty jerky chopsticks. Wrap them in whole wheat biscuits to make a mini meal.

The Culinary World

Castravettone is an invention, a summer game like apple soup in coconut milk, a restless one. What do you do when you get bored of eating the same thing twice? Obviously you start crafting, mixing, combining.

It amused me to combine these elements. It turned out what you see, With a good intake of lemon juice - because it's too sweet for my taste - it's only good! It reminds me of the Austrian and Hungarian soups I ate as a child, next to my grandmother's hands smelling incense and lemon salt, because lemon was a rarity at the time, and if I think about it, I didn't really know what it looked like.

All in all, you can eat this spicy, sweet-bitter and a little hot, and cold soup. I preferred it warm. It seems that this is the purpose of a jar of juice, to warm the entrails by their ephemeral passage to human pleasure.

And if I look at it better, it has something of a soul story with locusts of cosânzeana. I'm telling you to take it to your table. If you didn't like it, invent new shapes and flavors. And tell us what you achieved. We will like it!

Good appetite!

It could be a stand-alone food like summer. I matched him with rice with peas and broccoli (I will publish his recipe next time, I haven't managed to process it as a video yet). It could be a wonderful garnish next to polenta, or a slice of bread well baked on the stove and greased with crushed garlic, or even garlic mayonnaise.

When I was little, my mother used to do it often. She was convinced that I needed vitamin A, and there was no shortage of carrots with ripe tomatoes and honey or sugar, depending on what was in the house. I think I hated this food in the first place because it took me half my life to make it myself. But I was not sorry for the attempt. Cheap, easy, enough to fill a crowd, only good when you're in a hurry and don't want to spend an entire afternoon in the kitchen.

Sautee of carrots with chicken

700 gr carrots
1 medium onion
2 teaspoons brown sugar
5-6 boils ienibahar
3 bay leaves
1 cup tomato paste
2 tablespoons pepper paste or donuts
1 teaspoon oregano, basil and marjoram
1 teaspoon pepper
water to cover them a little.

How come?

1. Peel the carrots and cut them into sticks of approx. 1 cm long and thick. Cut the onion into cubes and sauté until soft, then add the carrots.
2. Saute the carrots a little, about 5 minutes, then add the spices and water (about 2 large cups).
3. Boil them on the stove, or put them in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes, until the water drops and the sauce binds.

Good appetite!

I don't know if you liked it, but I had a lot of fun (and I had all the stuff for a couple of days) until I made this video. Anyway, enjoy the recipe, have a great time cooking and enjoying the quiet of the day.

How come? (Let me say no more.)

1. Saute onions, gulia, celery diced in a tablespoon of oil. When the carrots have softened, add water, salt and pepper and bring to a boil.

2. When the above vegetables have boiled, add the diced apples and coconut milk, but also the cloves, thyme and even more salt. Let it boil again. Drizzle it with lemon (apples are not always quite sour) and possibly with salt, if needed.

A princess was once asked what she would prefer: a good ice cream or a hot man. The woman laughed and replied that she would enjoy an ice cream to discover a hot man. The situation is somewhat similar to the urgency that strikes you when you find out that in the next two hours your house is filled with people and you, you are completely uncovered. You have to bury something out of an empty refrigerator and two busy hands. Bonus, there is also a great need and people look closely at what they eat, not the other way around, but we should also get into swimsuits. So the list of options on offer is getting considerably shorter. Thought-rethought-analyzed, and. And here's what came out (to be complete joy, in less than a month, my phone cracked, taking with it all the photos of dishes made and the attempts of videos the god of phones to rest him and you forgive the picture borrowed from shutterstock .com):

How come?

Good appetite!

It's a joy to go back to your loved ones. It really is. And especially after life has crowded you, you have prepared a lot of things to publish, you have gathered, but you have not had time to do exactly what you love most: to write.

But you know very well that this is not the first time, and although I would like it to be the last time I leave blogs for a longer period of time, it may not be the way I want it to be. But let's move on to happier things.

It is said that corn is the jewel in the crown of a South American princess who was looking for her bear among. Spanish conquistadors. The shaman of the place, at his father's command, had cursed anyone who would have voluntarily gone after one of the invaders to become a being who would always be close to his loved one, but never a partner. To feel his touch, but not to enjoy it, to be used, but in no case to be able to respond. As his daughter fell with the trunk of the conqueror who had brought iniquity over their land, the shaman uttered the curse, the father looked relentlessly. She was asked what her last wish was: and the girl replied that love is not punishable by death. He was told that in the world of men the pay to love the wrong person is death.

In the blink of an eye, the beautiful girl turns into millions of golden, solar grains, scattered in the sand, all caught in shyly hidden bundles in thick green sheets from which dark locks gushed. Like hers. The hens bent down and enjoyed the moment and were cursed by the king not to fly as much as the world. I notice that until then, the hen flew like a hawk. It is said that astonished, perhaps, the conqueror took a bundle of "gold of the sand" and made a fortune with it at the court of Jezebel, who always wanted new lands that would be hers alone. For corn, as the sun-loving grains were called, was sweet, consistent, and versatile, to the delight of all in its new world, but no one would ever understand his thirst for love when he took wind-blown locks out of his clothes. and thick and green.

And when she makes this salad for you and you taste it, remember the girl with a sweet and soft heart like the solar and masterless love of the young heart. It is said to rejuvenate (sic!).

Tabbouleh salad / Parsley salad & # 8211 video recipe

Have you tried this recipe? Follow me on @JamilaCuisine or tag #jamilacuisine!

Salad tabbouleh or parsley salad, this is the name of the recipe I want to present to you below. Because summer has come, salads are part of my daily diet and I try to eat as many raw vegetables as possible, especially since the Romanian ones are already found in the markets. I think you already know that I love tomatoes and that I like to use them as much as possible, and parsley and mint are again among my favorites. From my point of view, mint is underestimated in Romania and we use it mainly for teas or newer ones, in lemonade, but mint can also be used in various dishes, such as in this parsley salad.

This tabbouleh salad is wonderful. It is made from simple ingredients at hand, the only ingredient that can be a little harder to find is bulgur. Bulgur is a mixture of different types of wheat, especially durum wheat and is ground large. For this recipe you need fine bulgur, as it is in the clip. If you can't find lumps, you can use couscous without any problems. Simply mix one measure of couscous with the same amount of hot water and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
