Pork roll

The quantities are variable, you can juggle the quantities depending on the piece of pork

  • A piece of smoked pork (I used the piece found on the pork belly)
  • A piece of smoked sausage, the length of a piece of meat
  • 250 g minced meat
  • 1 boiled carrot
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 2 eggs

Preparation time: over 120 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Pork roll:

Cut the piece of smoked meat so that it has a somewhat rectangular shape. Boil the carrot and cut it into cubes, cut the pepper into small cubes and put it to harden together with the minced meat. Heat until the pepper and meat soften. It changes color. We take it out in a bowl and let it cool, add the carrot and eggs and mix. Spread the piece of meat on baking paper, spread the filling on top and place the sausage, start rolling, tighten the baking paper and roll with another baking paper then tie tightly. Bake in the oven, over medium to low heat for about 2 hours and 1/4 hour. Remove from the oven, cut the string, remove the roll from the paper, place on a plate, cut cold.
