We place the first sheet on a plate, we stain the cream, so that we don't skimp, then a layer of whipped cream, over we place the second sheet, the whipped cream and at the end the last sheet, we decorate with cream and whipped cream, and on top we powder with a little sugar. a few good hours until we cut the cake, so that it has time to soften the sheets!
Creamy strawberry cake
I always had great difficulty finding strawberry cake recipes. This cake is crazy and combines some simple but very good tastes. The bad part was that my recipe wasn't really correct and the cream didn't harden as much as it should. Lack of jelly. But the victims devoured her.
150 g sugar
180 g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 vanilla bean
200 g sugar
1 l milk
200 g butter
100 g starch
500 g strawberries
10 g gelatin
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (medium). Separate the egg whites from the yolks and whisk. Beat the yolks with sugar until light in color. Add flour, baking powder quenched with lemon and mix. Add the egg whites at the end and mix gently by inverting. Place the dough in a cake tin lined with baking paper and bake for about 30 minutes. Try a toothpick to see if it's ready.
Grow the vanilla bean for a long time and remove the core. Both are boiled with milk and 100 g of sugar. The rest of the sugar is mixed with the yolks and starch. Pour the warm milk strained into a thin layer into the egg composition, stirring. Put everything on low heat, stirring constantly until the cream hardens. Remove the cream from the heat and when it cools down a bit, add the butter and gelatin soaked beforehand.
The strawberries are cleaned and washed and then cut lengthwise in half. The worktop is cut in half. Half is put in the shape of a cake. Strawberries are placed around the cut side towards the outside of the form. Put half of the vanilla cream that is covered with the rest of the strawberries and the rest of the cream. Place the second slice on the counter. Leave in the fridge for at least 4-5 hours to harden the cream. It is powdered with sugar and garnished with strawberries and served to the victims.

How do we prepare the cream, the cream?
1. Separate the yolks from the whites.
In a larger pot (I chose a smaller one and I couldn't fit the cream, I had to move it to a larger one) we put 1 liter of milk on low heat.
Mix the yolks with the sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl until smooth (4-5 minutes) then gradually add the flour, starch and the rest of the cold milk, ie 500ml.
Mix well and then pour the composition over the milk in the pot which must already be hot.
2. Now the eyes and the pot, we do not detach from it and mix with the aim until it thickens.
We have to mix until the cream is thicker than a pudding. Without fear of being cut.
When it has thickened (you will notice that from a certain moment no matter how much you mix it does not thicken) we stop the fire and leave it aside.
3. Beat the egg whites until they are hard without sugar and add them to the hot cream, stirring lightly with a spatula to try to keep the volume.
I didn't break with the wooden spatula and I mixed with the target :).
4. Put a sheet on the plate, frame it with a metal shape (it is not necessary, if you let the cream cool a little you will see that it is strong enough and stands alone). Pour the cream and let it cool and then put the tray in the cold for 2-3 hours (I left it out because it was a few degrees).
Then we put the whipped cream on top (I had 600ml because that's how we like it to feel & # 8221) and over the whipped cream the other sheet that I preferred to crush. Top with powdered sugar.
We cut with a sharp knife and enjoy :). It is very good!
