For starters you need about 1 kilogram of fish. We recommend trout, mackerel or hake. You also need a white onion, 3 cloves of garlic, about 300 grams of canned tomatoes, salt, oregano and sunflower oil.

Method of preparation

Clean the fish well and cut it into equal pieces. Be careful not to be too big, because otherwise they will not fry well. Sprinkle salt on it to taste, then leave it for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, you can pour a little oil into a pan that you will put on the fire to heat.

Then put the cornstarch in a plate and pass the fish well through it, so that it is well covered on all sides. After that, fry the fish pieces. It is advisable to leave the fish for about a quarter of an hour without turning it or moving it. Otherwise, you may break or not fry evenly. At the same time, the fire should be medium.

After the fish has browned well on one side, you can turn it over and leave it on the other side, until it browns properly.

After it is well fried, put it on a plate and grab the secret sauce.

First, cut the onion into small pieces and put it to harden, until lightly browned. Add the tomatoes, mix well and cook for about 10 minutes. After that, add salt and crushed garlic. Mix well, then add oregano.
