Semolina cake with yogurt and red apples

Wash the apples (they do not peel!). Cut each apple in half, and then into quarters. Take out the box with seeds, cut them into suitable slices and mix them with the juice of a lemon, so as not to darken. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.

Melt the butter and leave it to cool and then beat it (with a mixer or whisk) together with the simple and vanilla sugar, for 1-2 minutes. Add eggs, one by one, mixing well after each one. At the end, add the yogurt. Incorporate in the yoghurt composition, sifted flour with baking powder. Add the semolina and mix everything very well.

Line the tray with baking paper. Pour the dough and level it. Distribute the apple pieces evenly in the dough (I created rows with the apple slices).

Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes.

I tell you by heart that it is the best cake I have eaten lately.

2 cups grated apples (about 4 apples)

1 cup sugar (about 250 g) & ndash I used 220 g brown sugar

juice from a large orange

2 and 1/2 cups wax flour (approx. 420 g)

a teaspoon of salt

& ndash quantities for a 22 x 32 cm tray & ndash

How come:

Mix the grated apples in a suitable bowl (I peeled them because they had a harder skin), with the oil,

sugar and orange juice.

In a large bowl sift flour mixed with baking powder, salt and cinnamon.

Add the apple composition over the flour and mix well. Then add the raisins.

Pour the composition into a pan greased with oil and lined with flour.

Bake in the preheated oven at 180 C for about 35 minutes (do the toothpick test).

When it cools, we can powder it with sugar. I powdered it with pattern & # 128539

If you powder it entirely with sugar, I recommend reducing the amount of sugar in the composition.

Apple and banana cake

Place a layer of apples on top of the powder, level it evenly with a spoon and add small diced butter over the apples.

A new layer of semolina mixture with flour and sugar is distributed over the apple layer.

Over the powder layer is completed with a second layer of apples, which is evenly distributed and leveled with a spoon. Sprinkle the last layer of powder over the apples and grate the remaining butter over it.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the cake for about 35-40 minutes. After baking, leave to cool completely, then powder with sugar and when cold it can be portioned.

Bake on medium heat for about 45-50 minutes.
