They can be used and combined not only with meat - sweet potatoes are the ideal choice next to pork and turkey - but they are worth combining and used in thousands of other forms and ways. It is a favorite base for many vegan and vegetarian dishes, because they are nutritious vegetables and can be seasoned to taste. Although in the name of this vegetable we find the adjective "sweet", its taste does not necessarily reflect this characteristic, but it is still used successfully in desserts. Method of preparation:

  • We take a tart shape that we grease with butter.
  • Place the puff pastry carefully in the form.
  • Press with a fork on the puff pastry to prevent the dough from rising when baked.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice microwave oven. About 5-8 minutes because we don't want it to soften too much.
  • After removing the potatoes, we pass them in a mini mincer. Then we take the composition and put it, together with the butter, in mixer.
  • Gradually add the sugar and flavors.
  • Squeeze the lemon juice and put it in the composition.
  • Pour the composition over the puff pastry.
  • Then grease the edges of the dough with egg yolk.
  • Bake everything in the oven for 45-50 minutes.
  • The final composition must be well cohesive, especially in the middle.

If time is not on our side and we want to quickly prepare a delicious snack, the simplest recipe is baked potatoes with parmesan. Once baked, we just have to season them, put them in the oven and finally garnish them with cheese and sour cream.
